K-Type fonts can now be seen in a wealth of locations, from games to supermarkets, t-shirts to film titles. Dalek added an appropriately exotic appearance to the Babylon restaurant on Rusholme’s Curry Mile in Manchester, and the same font visited some visual violence upon Fonographiks and Image comics’ Kill All Parents! cover design. Mailart Rubberstamp bestowed grassroots craftsmanship upon a Directors Cut wine label and JC Penney’s Decree clothing label. Our Axis font gives a clean-cut look to Lt Murnau’s Paper Machine album, K-Type 3×5 adds to the cut-out collage feel of Gregg Bernstein’s cover design for the Blackmarket CD, and Mark Neocleous’s book, Critique of Security, uses Insecurity for its unnerving cover design.
