Mailart Rubberstamp
Mailart Rubberstamp now has an additional Bold weight and complimentary Obliques. The typeface has also been updated with subtle outline improvements, a bigger repertoire of European accented characters, and more consistent, slightly tighter spacing; increase the tracking to recreate the more relaxed, rustic appearance of the earlier version. The fonts are derived from the individually rubber-stamped letters on printed and collaged envelopes received from mailartists, and the typeface Clarendon Condensed.
Runestone
Runestone is a bold font derived from ancient Runic alphabets carved into standing stones. It also evokes the style of engraved Greek and Phoenician lettering. An additional Small Caps version is included in the download.
Frank Bellamy
An all capitals family based on the hand lettering of English artist, Frank Bellamy, most famous for his comic art for Eagle and TV21, and his Dr Who illustrations for Radio Times. The uppercase characters are the wider and heavier of the scans, and the lowercase are narrower and lighter letters. The Regular, Bold, Italic and Bold Italic are all supplied.
Stockscript
An elegant yet down-to-earth script based on the pen lettering of the writer, Christopher Stocks.
Sans Culottes
A misprinted sans serif loosely based on Phillip Cavette’s 1999 font 4990810, but with re-drawn outlines, more distress marks, a neater vertical aspect and no baseline irregularity. Unlike its inspiration, Sans Culottes is a complete font which includes a lower case, accented characters and as many dingbats as you can shake a stick at.
Building & Loan
A slightly rustic font with horizontal shading, Building & Loan evokes hand-crafted solidity and hands-on reliability.
Blue Plaque
Blue Plaque is a distressed font that simulates the low relief, white-painted lettering on English Heritage plaques attached to buildings where famous people have lived. For creating simulations, blank background plaques are included within the font and as a jpeg file.
