Building & Loan

A slightly rustic font with horizontal shading, Building & Loan evokes hand-crafted solidity and hands-on reliability.
Rick Griffin / Rick Griffin Contour

Our two Rick Griffin font sets are based on the 1960s psychedelic poster lettering of the Californian artist. Rick Griffin is the regular, and Rick Griffin Contour has the additional outline characteristic of many Griffin posters and comes with a matching Rick Griffin Contour Ground font for colour underlays.
Blue Plaque

Blue Plaque is a distressed font that simulates the low relief, white-painted lettering on English Heritage plaques attached to buildings where famous people have lived. For creating simulations, blank background plaques are included within the font and as a jpeg file.
International Times

International Times is a full font based on the two letter masthead of ‘it’ (pronounced “eye tea”), the International Times, a British underground newspaper/magazine of the late 1960s and early 70s. An unusual upright italic with a slightly anachronistic, semi-serif upper case.
Norton

Norton is a full character set based on the five letters in the famous Norton Motorcycles logo. K-Type has attempted to remain true to the spirit of the original identity, whilst updating the face, particularly the upper case, to sit more comfortably in contemporary usage.
Bigfoot

Bigfoot is a whole font based on the slab capitals used by Victor Moscoso in his 1960s psychedelic rock posters. Capital A alternatives can be found at keystrokes ± and §
Serifina

Serifina is a chunky display face that’s quite quirky, and just decorative enough to offend the purists. It’s an eclectic semi-serif which is to typography what ice cream and pizza is to gastronomy. A useful Outline version is also supplied.
